Do you have a showroom?

Yes! Visit us in Suite #204 at The Branch at 1636 Oak St, Columbus, OH 43205 in the Historic Trolley District in Olde Towne East. Make a day of it! Grab coffee or lunch at East Market, take a stroll through Franklin Park, visit us to find your perfect rug, and celebrate with frosty margs at Local Cantina!

What does "To The Trade" mean?

We are a to the trade showroom, meaning we sell to designers, architects, builders, and contractors. We have a limited collection of rugs for sale through our website. For retail sales questions or interest in a custom rug, email orders@michipatterns.com.

Question 3

Do you have products in stock?

Accepted Answer

We do not keep stock in our showroom. Lead times are typically 8-12 weeks for production + shipping. We typically air freight our rugs, which incurs a higher shipping cost, but often saves months. If you are in a time crunch, please call the showroom or email orders@michipatterns.com – as we may have a limited selection of rugs available for pre-order.

How do I open a Trade Account?

Email us at info@michipatterns.com! We will send you a form to fill out and return to us. We typically process account registration in 48 hours, contact us if you need a rush on your registration.

What benefits does my Trade Account get me?

Accepted Answer

Trade accounts have access to trade pricing, exclusive sample requests, and additional customization opportunities.

Rug samples are limited and require a $100 deposit, refundable when samples are returned. Additional samples can be ordered with a lead time of 4-6 weeks. Orders are sent either by USPS or Fedex Ground. For rush shipping, contact showroom for rates.

Sample orders will be available for pick up within 48 hours if you are in Columbus, OH.

How do I place an order?

You can order rugs from our running line collection through our website.  For custom sizes, colors, or patterns, please contact orders@michipatterns.com.

For Custom Orders, Please include the following:
Timeline
Budget
Design Parameters
Shipping Address with any sidemarks or project name

50% deposit payment is required up front for orders to be placed.

Do you have minimum order requirements?

Do you offer Nylon or Synthetic Rugs or Carpet Tile?

Accepted Answer

We are primarily a wool and silk rug manufacturer. We have a couple strategic partnerships for requests for commercial projects. For a custom synthetic carpet, this requires a 100 sy minimum order. Contact orders@michipatterns.com for more information.

Question 9

Can you help me select the right rug style and size for my room?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We can help you select a design and style to suit your needs. Need us to visit you in person? We offer a $150 consultant fee for home or business owners within a 5 mile range of the showroom. $200 for 5-10 miles and $250 for up to 30 miles. These costs are credited back once a purchase is made. We also offer renderings of our rugs in your space.

What is your return policy?

All orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Do you offer interior design services?

Accepted Answer

We offer limited consultations with Arica and Kate for $125/hr in the showroom.

These sessions are available for the following services:
Wallpaper selections
Paint color coordination
Fabric selections
Furniture layout recommendations
Drapery selections and coordination with work room
Rug selections, custom colors, and sizing.

These sessions do not provide suggestions on floor plans, major home renovations, or exterior design. Furniture, lighting and accessory selections may be provided on a case by case basis.

Do you provide installation?

No, we do not offer installation services. We recommend White Glove Delivery for rug orders. We can coordinate White Glove Installation for a fee determined at time of check out. Rug orders over 100SF may weigh over 200 lbs and require shipping on a palette that will require a a forklift, hence the White Glove installation services. At this size, we will not ship directly to homes or locations.

How are shipping and handling fees determined?

Our shipping and handling charges are set by fedex estimates. If final shipping costs are less than anticipated, funds are credited back to the account.

Where are your rugs made?

Accepted Answer

Michi partners with the finest artisan textile mills in India. Our partners have a long history in the rug industry, with many of it's employees being third, fourth, and fifth generation weavers. Their expertise is woven into every Michi rug to create durable, heirloom quality products.

Where do you ship Michi Rugs?
